Janey Youngblom

BIO:
I attended undergraduate studies at Rutgers University with a major in Biology. I continued my education at the same university and received my M.S. in Genetic Counseling and briefly worked as a genetic counselor for the state of North Carolina. I returned to Graduate school to get my Ph.D. in Genetics and Cell Biology from the University of Minnesota. This was followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at University of California San Francisco. Upon completing my fellowship, I took a position at California State University and have now been here for 18 years. Currently, I am serving as the Associate Director of the M.S. in Genetic Counseling Program that will begin in fall 2008.
